Typical Day (as usual)

Okay, there is nothing going on here, but I felt I should just write a quick note to inform friends about the past week(s). So, at our church we have two separate youth groups (one for seventh and eighth graders, the other for high-schoolers) and I will moving up soon. They are having a party for all the eighth graders moving up next week, and I am really looking forward to it. Hopefully I am going to take a camera or something so I can get some pics of us up on the blog. Well, until then!

This spring we went to Norris Dam to go on a nature trail, and just sort of drive around. It was fun!

Wedding Cake

Last week Ashlynn made a wedding cake for my dad's uncle. It was really cool, and I think the bride really liked it. It was a bit of a hassle getting everything the bride wanted, but in the end, Ashlynn did a wonderful job. It is really amazing watching her turn a cake that is completely ruined and got chunks of it torn out to a beautiful creation! :) Here are some pics from that day.







This is a little something the bride did for Ashlynn as an extra "thank you." She has an embroidery shop, and thought this was really cute!

Mission Trip

So, my dad, sister, and I are thinking about going on a mission trip with our former church in December. We are wanting to go to Haiti. Next week we are having a yard sale, and several people have been generous enough to donate clothes, furniture, etc for us to sale. I would like to personally thank them.

Also, we (obviously) have a certain amount of money to come up with for the trip. Please join me in praying for the funds to make this trip possible. Also, if anybody has any ideas for making a little extra money, feel free to let me know! You can also email me at bookworm0105@comcast.net
