Easter Is On Its Way :)

So, Easter is pretty close, and I am really looking forward to it! This year mom has started letting us prepare a special breakfast for each holiday. On Valentine's Day, Ashlynn and I did it, and so now Loren and Kenzie are going to do it. I think they are going to do a great job, and the things which they have mention to fix sound HEAVENLY! :) They mentioned making Resurrection Rolls, which, if you have never had them, are marshmallows covered in cinnimon and rolled up in a Cresent bun. When they bake, the marshmallows melt and it is sooooo good! :) Anyway, hopefully they are going to make those, and if they do, I'll tell you all about it! YUM!

Happy Birthday, Garrison!

Tomorrow is Garrison's birthday, and he is turning nine. Its hard to believe that he is going to be NINE!!!! It seems like yesterday that we were heading to the hospital to see him for the first time. :) Also, we have another friend, Eli, who is going to have a birthday in a couple of days. Happy Birthday to you BOTH! :) Well, I don't have many pics of Garrison, but I'll find some and also put some up of his birthday in a couple of days.

This was a few years ago, Isn't he cute?? :)

This is him helping decorate our grandparent's Christmas tree this past year. Anyway, I hope both Garrison, and Eli have an awesome birthday! :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day everybody!

So, today is St. Patty's day in Tennessee! :) We celebrated it yesterday with our grandparents, but I still wanted to write a quick post about it. Normally we go to our grandparent's (on our mom's side) and they have green punch, table cloths, decorations, etc. Last year we died our muffins, milk, and other food green. This year, it sort of slipped past our minds, and so we haven't really done anything. For whoever reads this regularly, what all did YOU do for St. Patty's day??? Write a comment and tell me! :)

Okay, so a couple of weeks ago, mom and dad bought a couple of new couches. They told them that it would take at least a couple of weeks to have them delivered to our house (they didn't have the kind mom and dad wanted in the store). Mom said she was going to paint, but didn't get the right paint until last night. When dad got home he asked if she was going to paint. He was like, "I think you had better, because the couches are coming tomorrow afternoon!" Mom was like, thanks for telling me ahead of time! :) anyway, we all got together and painted the whole living room last night. The colour is a dark(ish) green. It looks nice, and I think it will go well with the dark new couches that are coming soon! Hopefully I will get a before and after pic up soon! :)

What to write??

Hey guys, I don't really know what to write, so I am going to make this short (and hopefully sweet!). Today Mom had a friend over that used to go to church with her. He was very interesting and has been to different countries with Campous Crusade for Christ. Anyway, we have had a long day, and I am looking forward to currling up in my bed and reading.

Speaking of reading, what do You all like to read??? If you are like me, you spend most of your spare time reading, and could probably read a magizine on car parts if it was well writen! :) okay, I may be exaggerating (car parts are REALLY boring!) anyway, I like teen fiction, and sometimes bio's on my favorite authors.

Braces :)

Okay, well most of you that know me already know that I have braces. Today I went to the Orthodontist to get them checked, and now my teeth are a bit sore. Most of the time it goes fine, but today we had a minor setback. Well, when they were starting to take my archwire out (basically they just loosen it up and pull) it got stuck on one of the brackets. Unfortunately, it didn't come out easily. They pulled and pulled (it didn't hurt bad, but it did worry me that they would like pull my tooth out or something!) but it would not budge. Suddenly, I heard a little click, and felt something fall onto my tongue. I was pretty sure I knew what it was, and then when one of the ladies standing there said "Uh-Oh, two brackets were pulled." I knew that I was right. They had to glue two more brackets on and adjust everything else. The worked pretty fast, becuase I actually ended up getting done before my sister, who started right around the same time as me! Anyway, thankfully, all is well and my teeth aren't messed up!!! :) Also, I got an EXCELLENT (they are having a drawing for who brushes their teeth the best, if you get an excellent on your card, you are in the running to win $50 or more!) I guess it all turned out well, and I am glad! I'll write later,

Science

Today we (Ashlynn and I) are going to our grandparent's house to do some science experiments. I really enjoy these times, because its better learning from your grandmother, rather than a grumpy teacher! :) lol Anyway, the last time I went we did an experiment that we all expected to like... blow up. So we took it outside, and got it ready. Soon, we shook the bottle (it was like the old vinegar-and-baking-soda-experiment) and stood back. I don't know what went wrong, but the mixture barely fizzed up. If it hadn't been so freezing cold, we probably would have tried it again. But, being girls and not really caring, we ran inside to get warm! :) I guess we didn't learn as much from that one as we had hoped, but anyway...

P.S. Whoever looks at this regularly, write a comment and tell me what your fave type of SCIENCE is. Physical, Anatomy, etc. Mine is definately anatamy!!! (probably because my dad teaches me! And I just learn it as I can, sort of like a hobby!)
