Easter!

Hey guys! so sorry I missed Easter! :) I got busy and wasn't home all day on Easter Sunday, therefore didn't get to write a post about what we did. We had a busy day (as I am sure that everybody else did) and had a great time spending time with family and friends.

First, we went to Chuch, where they had their Card-Board testimonies (where people put who they are without God on one side, and then flip it over and show who they are with Christ) it was really good!

Next, we went to our Grandparent's house (our mom's parent's) and spent from 12:30 (ish) to 4:00pm. We hid roughly 100 eggs... for about 14 of us. :) A little much, I know, but the kids had fun! We ate KFC for lunch and received enough candy to last us all a year.

We then went to our dad's parent's house, and got more candy (though not as much thankfully!) and ate some more. Sometimes I wonder why we don't space out our times with the family because we eat sooooo much when we got to both grandparents on the same day! :) What did everybody else do for Easter?? Its Kenzie's Birthday!

Yesterday was Kenzie's birthday and i just ran out of time to mention it! :( She turned eleven, and we are having her party tonight. Just wanted to wish her a happy birthday! Its really pretty amazing that she is already eleven, because I remeber when she was still like five or six, in love with Strawberry Shortcake, and without her two front teeth. Well, now she is an incredibly mature, beautiful young lady (with both her front teeth!). So, here is a pic of her!

Just a Typical Day

So, the past couple of days have been quite normal. We went to an assistant living home on Saturday, and watched Narnia 3 with our cousins. Then yesterday we had a normal day of school. And today we are going to a museum in Townsand. Since it will be a field trip, we don't have to do much school today! :D lol Anyway, we will be leaving soon, so I guess this will be a short entry! I will try to get some pics later!

What a Relief!

Okay, so today Mom and I took Ryan back to the hospital to have the bead taken out. All day I was praying that it would come out within a few minutes of looking at it. We had to wait in the waiting room for like forever, and dad and I went walking around (dad works there, and he was showing me some things). After about an hour, maybe more Ryan was called back and we (dad and I, mom went with him) waited in the waiting room. About ten minutes went by and we headed to the Caffeteria. Soon, mom called us and said that the bead was out!! I was so thankful. :)

Ryan's Bead

Okay, so yesterday Ashlynn was at Friday school, and where normally most of the others are at Grandmother's house they had to stay home. At around 2:30 or so Ryan decided to put a bead in his ear. Later he told me that he was trying to hide it from mom, and that when he tried to get it back out again, he "didn't know how to get it." Well, mom called like all of our family and had our grandmother come over so that she could take him to the hospital. Ashlynn said that when mom texted her, she about had a heartattack. She said the text that she got basically said "friends are bringing you home, taking Ryan to ER" who wouldn't freak out with something like that??? I mean, mom didn't say anything like "Ryan's okay" or anything like that. Anyway, the doctors taking care of Ryan couldn't get it out and they have to go back on Monday to see if the ear, nose, throat specialist can help. All in all, yesterday was interesting. All of the grandparents were over, and when Ryan returned he was showered with affection. :) Just pray that they get the bead out on Monday, Thanks!
