Ashlynn took this pic of me, even though I wasn't too inthusiastic! :)
Not so uncommon to find a pic of my back :)

Monday. Again

So, it is Monday again. Where did last week go??? It was a little hectic today, but not out of the norm for a Monday. I went to my grandparent's house last week and had an absolutely great time there. It is always nice to have some time alone. Of course, when I got home, I was sort of overwelmed by the noise! Anyway, I think Wednesday was the most uneventful day of the whole week, yet Ashlynn had Friday school, so it was still a little hectic.

I am currently trying to think of some Christmas music to learn on the piano. Does anyone have any ideas??? I would really appreciate some different options! Today we watched White Christmas, the OLD movie. It was okay, but I would not want to watch it again for a little while.

I want to say thanks to everyone that follows my blog, or simply checked it out once. THANKS!!!

Normal day at the ANDERS!!!

On a normal day at the Anders, we get up at around 7:30 am and eat, do a short Bible time, and chores. We then get our buddies (the younger sibling we take care of) dressed and start school. Today we did not do that. It (like most Mondays) was busy and hectic. I was trying to get lots of school done, but sometime with a lot of kids, you simply have to go with the flow. Anyway, at around 2 pm or so my grandmother picked Kenzie and I up to go run around with her. That was a nice relief.

I have recently seen the Legend of the Guardians movie! It was cute and I would recommend it for everyone!!!

Fall!!

Fall is definately my favorite season! I am not a great fan of hot weather, so am always really glad when it starts to cool down! Tonight, it is 52 degrees fehrenheit. It feels so nice. Today we had a cleaning day, and some of us went through our clothes and replaced our summer clothes with our winter. I love this time of year!!!!! Anyway, it was a bit hectic and left the house in a more sloppy state than it was in before. But, it will be okay in the end. ( I hope!)

He is HOME!!!

Finally! Uncle Mike got back from Iraq last Thursday at around 2:40 pm. We went down to Georgia and had a great time getting back together with the cousins and other family. The Homecoming was great, but very emotional (as you can imagine). We got two days to spend with the cousins before the homecoming and then we got roughly one day to spend with Uncle Mike before coming home. It was an awesome experience, but I was glad to be home in my own bed last night!

There were lots of people at the homecoming, but we were informed that Uncle Mike had the most people there for him! (there were 22 people in all.) In the local newspaper we were on there with a sign welcoming him home, and all the kids surrounding it.

The Hotel we stayed at was lovely, though we did not spend lots of time there. Sometimes we would get home late, and then have to spend a little bit of time getting the little ones ready for bed. It was great fun and glad Uncle Mike is finally home!!!

PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR TROOPS!!!!
